About Close House

Close House is a championship golf resort and hotel between Heddon-on-the-Wall and Wylam, a short drive south-west of Ponteland. It is home to the only Lee Westwood-designed courses in the world, the Colt and the Filly, and has hosted the British Masters on the DP World Tour, in 2017 and 2020, with Westwood as the club's attached tour professional.

Alongside the courses there is a 20-bay floodlit Toptracer driving range and golf academy, hotel accommodation and dining at the No.19 bar and restaurant, making it a destination in its own right whether you are playing a round or practising at the range. Green fees, stay-and-play packages and tee times are available via the resort.
