About Kumon Ponteland Study Centre
Kumon Ponteland Study Centre is on the first floor at 5 Main Street, in the centre of the village. It teaches maths and English using the Kumon method: short, individually pitched worksheets completed at the centre and practised daily at home, designed to build fluency, confidence and independent study habits.
New students start with an initial assessment, which sets their starting point and their class day and arrival time. The centre runs weekday after-school sessions and a Saturday morning slot, and each subject takes roughly half an hour in the centre.
