The Ponteland Duck Race returns to Ponteland Park for a family afternoon by the River Pont, run by The Chronicle Sunshine Fund. As well as the duck races themselves — including the popular children's decorated duck race and a lively business boat race — there are rides, games, food stalls and local traders, with something for all ages. Bring the family, pick your ducks and enjoy a good afternoon out.
