Pod on the Tyne Live

About This Event

The independent Newcastle United podcast Pod on the Tyne heads back to the stage after a string of sell-out shows, bringing its trademark mix of genuine insight and cheerful nonsense to a live audience. Host Taylor Payne is joined by The Athletic's George Caulkin and Chris Waugh, two of the most respected and well-connected voices on the Newcastle beat, for a night of analysis, argument and the sort of tangents that only happen once the recording light is meant to be off. Expect informed debate on where the club stands, plenty of intra-pod bickering, audience participation and a good deal of the irreverent, occasionally absurd humour that has built the show its devoted following. Whether you are after serious talk about the season ahead or simply a warm, funny night among fellow supporters, it is a proper matchday-eve gathering for the Toon faithful.
