Little Seedlings: The Journey of a Leaf at Dobbies
A free hour-long nature workshop for children aged 4 to 10 following a leaf through the seasons.
About This Event
Children learn how leaves make energy for plants, why they change colour, how to identify trees by their leaves and how fallen leaves feed the soil and shelter wildlife, then make a paper plate leaf wreath to take home. The Little Seedlings club is free but must be booked in advance, and a parent or guardian must stay for the whole session. Each child gets a membership pack with an attendance card and stickers.
