About This Event

Wylam Brewery's Food Battles reach their climax over the August bank holiday weekend with Battle Royale, a two-day street-food showdown running Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August. The region's best pop-ups and food trucks — past podium finishers and fan favourites alike — go head-to-head across an eclectic mix of cuisines, and it is here that the year's overall Battle Royale winner is announced. Expect two days of food, drink, DJs and fun in and around the grand Palace of Arts. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are on offer, and the event is family and dog-friendly. Entry is free.
