About The Badger
The Badger is a country pub and restaurant on the edge of Ponteland at Street Houses, housed in an 18th-century building that was once a gentleman's residence before becoming a farm and then the pub it is today. Part of the Vintage Inn group, it trades on rural charm and rustic character, with real fires, real ales, well-kept beer gardens and a full pub-food menu.
A popular spot for a relaxed meal or a country walk stop, it is dog and child friendly and runs a weekly quiz night on Tuesdays from 7.30pm with a jackpot prize. Its setting a short drive from the village makes it a favourite for a leisurely lunch or Sunday roast.
